Complaints procedure for members of the public

Whether you think we’re doing well or feel we need to do better, we value your opinion and want to hear from you.

If you are unhappy with Edinburgh Communities Climate Action Network in any way, please let us know.  We welcome the opportunity to put matters right.

What to do

To make a complaint please email: edinburgh@eccan.scot

Whatever method you choose to get in touch, the matter will be dealt with in the same way.

What happens next?

We will respond to you within 3 working days informing you who is dealing with your complaint – which will usually be the Network Lead – and how long the investigation will take.

We aim to resolve complaints within 10 working days. However, some complaints take longer to look into and when they do, we will contact you to advise you when you can expect a response from us.

All comments and complaints will be recorded and used to help us improve.

What if I’m unhappy with the response?

If you have made a complaint and are unhappy with the response you receive, you can write to the Convenor of the Board of Trustees, who will look at the situation and decide if further action is needed. Contact: convener@eccan.scot
