If you want to help advance community climate action in Edinburgh to meet new people and develop new skills, volunteering at ECCAN might be what you’re looking for!

We offer one-off and also longer-term opportunities to people interested in addressing the climate crises. Please get in touch with our Members & Events Lead Victoria for an informal chat about what specific volunteer opportunities ECCAN are currently offering.

Here is a brief outline of ECCAN’s current volunteering opportunities:

  • Events Team: this group supports the delivery of ECCAN events and would suit someone who cannot commit to a continuous volunteer role.

  • Facilitation Team: (starting January 2025) we will be training volunteer facilitators to co-host conversations in Edinburgh communities, with the support of ECCAN and the Climate Psychology Alliance.
