Edinburgh World Heritage invite you to a free event focusing on the energy retrofit of traditional buildings.

This session will provide valuable insights into the methodologies and strategies for enhancing energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions within traditional architectural structures. Mr. Yasser Battikha, Energy Retrofit Specialist, and Mr. Yann Grandgirard, Head of Climate Change at Edinburgh World Heritage, will present on various approaches, interventions, and practical considerations involved in undertaking energy retrofit projects. They will also offer a detailed case study of a comprehensive whole-house retrofit project conducted within a listed tenement on the Royal Mile.

The session will encompass information regarding Edinburgh World Heritage's Climate Emergency Grant programme, forthcoming initiatives, and a dedicated question-and-answer segment. The event will conclude with the provision of tea and coffee.
