The climate is changing across Edinburgh and South East Scotland. What changes have you noticed? How are they affecting where you live?
Communities know the places they care about the best. That’s why Climate Ready South East Scotland want to hear your stories of how extreme weather, and our changing climate, are affecting your communities, and your daily lives and livelihoods. They want to hear about the changes you’re seeing, the challenges you face, and what they can do to make our region more resilient.
The Climate Ready South East Scotland Story Map will help understand how climate change is affecting people and communities across the region. This local knowledge and experience will complement the scientific data and evidence Climate Ready South East Scotland are currently gathering.
Over the coming months they’ll be working with partners and communities across the region on a series of events and resources to support people to add their stories to the map, and their voices to the project.

To inform the Climate Ready South East Scotland climate risk and opportunity assessment, they’re also gathering evidence from organisations across the region.
This may include organisational climate risk assessments, evidence on climate vulnerability, exposure or observed impacts, and details of climate adaptation actions, planned investment and future development.
