Scotland’s Climate Week 2024 will run from 23-29 September. This annual event highlights the importance and urgency of tackling climate change and celebrates all the positive climate action being taken across the country to help inspire further collective, transformative change.
This year’s theme is “Stories for Change” which aims to encourage individuals, communities, and organisations to share their personal experiences and actions of what they’re doing to adapt to and combat climate change. The Climate Change Committee has estimated that 62% of the changes needed to tackle climate change can only happen with societal or individual behaviour change. Sharing stories is a powerful tool for connecting people and inspiring this necessary collective action. By sharing our journey and solutions on social media using #ScotClimateWeek, we can help others understand the impact of climate change and motivate them to take action.
