📅 Date: Fri, June 21st
🕐 Time: 12pm – 4pm (with lunch)
📍 Location: St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, Palmerston Pl, Edinburgh EH12 5AW

Open to all community groups, activists, artists, & friends of ECCAN, Creative Carbon Scotland and A+E.

Following from Creative Carbon Scotland’s SPRINGBOARD Edinburgh local assembly in February, this networking event hosted by embedded artist Jonathan Baxter, from the Arts and Ecology project at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, brings together artists, climate activists, community groups and organisations to launch a year-long programme. It aims to support all involved in climate action through sharing and collaboration. We aim to have an equal distribution between artists and representatives from community groups and organisations.

We will explore the role of art and creativity in climate engagement, facilitate networking and brainstorming sessions, match artists with projects, gain practical insights from the Arts and Ecology project at St Mary’s, and seed project ideas for the city. The event is organised by A+E, ECCAN, and Creative Carbon Scotland.

We hope this event launches a series of learning exchange visits exploring the impact of embedded artists on community-led climate projects.
