About this event: 1 hour 30 minutes

Exciting news! SCCAN is partnering with AKOU again to deliver a light touch training programme over the summer.

AKOU will offer a two part workshop, one in June and a follow up in September, setting workshop attendees activities to do over the summer. The aim of this programme is to support you with the skills and confidence to do social impact measurement, community engagement, and social research.

The AKOU team wants to equip you and others in the SCCAN network with new knowledge and tools so that you can tell powerful, well-evidenced stories about the incredible work that you, and your networks, do for people and the planet.

In today’s dynamic landscape of community building and innovation, understanding the real extent of our social impact is crucial. Especially when we are addressing complex problems like climate change, and systemic issues that affect our social, political and environmental ecosystems. Capturing social impact enables us to evidence the positive change that our work is creating, and to learn about how we can reach and support people differently in the future.

AKOU’s goal for the training is for you to learn how to measure and quantify the social impact of your organisation, and to better tell your social impact story.
